MUNDANE MUSIC

I was shocked by Whitechapel's appearance when he hit the stage. He looked ill or as if he was nursing a bad cold. There was little interaction with the audience from either musician, which was very disappointing. Moon River on the Electric Guitar??? Was Andy Williams in the audience??? Beck was on stage first and, with the exception of a young and very talented base player, he was boring. B-o-r-i-n-g! The two musicians were disjointed in their playing on stage together, and their choice of music was not in good taste. Not one note was played from their Yardbird days. His music was geared towards his blues persona, hardly playing any of the old songs that everyone expected or knew. As a long time fan of Whitechapel's, I was really disappointed.
